The Business Roundtable event in Agbara

The Agbara Business Roundtable event in Ogun State marked a significant milestone in Nigeria’s quest for sustainable investments and reliable power supply.

The event, which was attended by Vice President @officialsksm, GCON, and other electricity industry players, emphasized the importance of reliable power supply as the foundation of a robust economy and a catalyst for investment. Without affordable and sustainable power, a nation risks economic stagnation, underdevelopment, poverty, insecurity, and political instability.

We also discussed the need to unite resources from the private sector, international development organizations, and governments worldwide to address the energy access challenge and eliminate the energy deficit in sub-Saharan Africa.

President Asiwaju BAT, GCFR, has demonstrated the capacity, creativity, and determination needed to power Nigeria and bring about a fundamental shift from outdated practices.

Our administration has implemented a transformational philosophy called ISEYA, focusing on infrastructural development, social welfare, education, youth empowerment, and agriculture and food security.

This has led to Ogun State ranking third in internally generated revenue in the Federation. The Agbara Industrial Estate has become a thriving hub, accommodating numerous operational companies and contributing to the economy’s growth.

The Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport is a strategic project designed to facilitate the exportation of agricultural and non-agricultural goods, boost socio-economic activities, and increase revenue generation.

Ogun State is committed to sustainable power generation and invites investors to consider Ogun State as their investment destination.
